Smart Scale Studio shows scales as tablature on iPhone and iPad, plays them at the tempo you
choose, and listens to your guitar so correct notes turn green.
Getting help
For questions, bug reports or feature requests, use the developer contact link on the app's
App Store page. When reporting a problem, please include:
which device and iOS version you are on
whether you used the built-in microphone or a USB audio interface
the scale, mode (Listen, Learn or Play Along) and tempo you were using
what happened versus what you expected
Getting the best results
Use headphones while practising, so the app's own reference tones don't reach the microphone.
Tune your guitar to standard tuning (E A D G B E) before you start.
A clean guitar tone is detected more reliably than heavy distortion.
Privacy
Smart Scale Studio does not collect, store or share any personal data.
Microphone: audio is analysed live on your device to check the notes you play.
If you turn on Use my guitar, short tones are kept in memory only, for playback during the
session. Nothing is recorded to disk or sent anywhere.
Settings: only your chosen tempo is saved, on your device.
No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no network connections.
